Gmail Account Hacking Tool
A tool that automatically steals IDs of non-encrypted sessions and breaks into Google Mail accounts has been presented at the Defcon hackers’ conference in Las Vegas.Last week Google introduced a new feature in Gmail that allows users to permanently switch on SSL and use it for every action involving Gmail, and not only, authentication. Users who did not turn it on now have a serious reason to do so as Mike Perry, the reverse engineer from San Francisco who developed the tool is planning to release it in two weeks. When you log in to Gmail the website sends a cookie (a text file) containing your session ID to the browser. This file makes it possible for the website to know that you are authenticated and keep you logged in for two weeks, unless you manually hit the sign out button. When you hit sign out this cookie is cleared.Even though when you log in, Gmail forces the authentication over SSL (Secure Socket Layer), you are not secure because it reverts back to a regular unencrypted connection after the authentication is done. According to Google this behavior was chosen because of low-bandwidth users, as SLL connections are slower. The problem lies with the fact that every time you access anything on Gmail, even an image, your browser also sends your cookie to the website. This makes it possible for an attacker sniffing traffic on the network to insert an image served from http://mail.google.com and force your browser to send the cookie file, thus getting your session ID. Once this happens the attacker can log in to the account without the need of a password. People checking their e-mail from public wireless hotspots are obviously more likely to get attacked than the ones using secure wired networks. Todd Mumford, from the SEO company called SEO Visions Inc, states “This can be a serious problem for Internet Marketers who travel often and use their wireless laptops and Gmal services often and do not always have access to a secure connection”Perry mentioned that he notified Google about this situation over a year ago and even though eventually it made this option available, he is not happy with the lack of information. “Google did not explain why using this new feature was so important” he said. He continued and explained the implications of not informing the users, “This gives people who routinely log in to Gmail beginning with an https:// session a false sense of security, because they think they’re secure but they’re really not.”If you are logging in to your Gmail account from different locations and you would like to benefit from this option only when you are using unsecured networks, you can force it by manually typing https://mail.google.com before you log in. This will access the SSL version of Gmail and it will be persistent over your entire session and not only during authentication.
Backtracking EMAIL Messages + Turorial Guide
sk most people how they determine who sent them an email message and the response is almost universally, “By the From line.” Unfortunately this symptomatic of the current confusion among internet users as to where particular messages come from and who is spreading spam and viruses. The “From” header is little more than a courtesy to the person receiving the message. People spreading spam and viruses are rarely courteous. In short, if there is any question about where a particular email message came from the safe bet is to assume the “From” header is forged.
So how do you determine where a message actually came from? You have to understand how email messages are put together in order to backtrack an email message. SMTP is a text based protocol for transferring messages across the internet. A series of headers are placed in front of the data portion of the message. By examining the headers you can usually backtrack a message to the source network, sometimes the source host. A more detailed essay on reading email headers can be found .
If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express you can view the headers by right clicking on the message and selecting properties or options. In Gmail to view the headers there is a option show original in the menu at the top-right corner of the message.
Below are listed the headers of an actual spam message I received. I’ve changed my email address and the name of my server for obvious reasons. I’ve also double spaced the headers to make them more readable.

X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2650.21)

MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary=”MIMEStream=_0+211404_90873633350646_4032088448″
According to the From header this message is from Maricela Paulson at s359dyxxt@yahoo.com. I could just fire off a message to abuse@yahoo.com, but that would be waste of time. This message didn’t come from yahoo’s email service.
The header most likely to be useful in determining the actual source of an email message is the Received header. According to the top-most Received header this message was received from the host 12-218-172-108.client.mchsi.com with the ip address of 21.218.172.108 by my server mailhost.example.com. An important item to consider is at what point in the chain does the email system become untrusted? I consider anything beyond my own email server to be an unreliable source of information. Because this header was generated by my email server it is reasonable for me to accept it at face value.
The next Received header (which is chronologically the first) shows the remote email server accepting the message from the host 0udjou with the ip 193.12.169.0. Those of you who know anything about IP will realize that that is not a valid host IP address. In addition, any hostname that ends in client.mchsi.com is unlikely to be an authorized email server. This has every sign of being a cracked client system.
Here’s is where we start digging. By default Windows is somewhat lacking in network diagnostic tools; however, you can use the tools at to do your own checking.
davar@nqh9k:[/home/davar] $whois 12.218.172.108
AT&T WorldNet Services ATT (NET-12-0-0-0-1)
12.0.0.0 – 12.255.255.255
Mediacom Communications Corp MEDIACOMCC-12-218-168-0-FLANDREAU-MN (NET-12-218-168-0-1)
12.218.168.0 – 12.218.175.255
# ARIN WHOIS database, last updated 2003-12-31 19:15
# Enter ? for additional hints on searching ARIN’s WHOIS database.
I can also verify the hostname of the remote server by using nslookup, although in this particular instance, my email server has already provided both the IP address and the hostname.
davar@nqh9k:[/home/davar] $nslookup 12.218.172.108
Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1
Name: 12-218-172-108.client.mchsi.com
Address: 12.218.172.108
Ok, whois shows that Mediacom Communications owns that netblock and nslookup confirms the address to hostname mapping of the remote server,12-218-172-108.client.mchsi.com. If I preface a www in front of the domain name portion and plug that into my web browser, http://www.mchsi.com, I get Mediacom’s web site.
There are few things more embarrassing to me than firing off an angry message to someone who is supposedly responsible for a problem, and being wrong. By double checking who owns the remote host’s IP address using two different tools (whois and nslookup) I minimize the chance of making myself look like an idiot.
A quick glance at the web site and it appears they are an ISP. Now if I copy the entire message including the headers into a new email message and send it to abuse@mchsi.com with a short message explaining the situation, they may do something about it.
But what about Maricela Paulson? There really is no way to determine who sent a message, the best you can hope for is to find out what host sent it. Even in the case of a PGP signed messages there is no guarantee that one particular person actually pressed the send button. Obviously determining who the actual sender of an email message is much more involved than reading the From header.

Beware!!
Never Fall into the False Trap !!
Thats right Guys . Well according to my Personal experience when i initially started acquiring Skills in real HACKING , 18 out of 20 Searches and links Claimed easy breaking into Hotmail, Yahoo, Rediffmail, Myspace, Facebook etc. But In Fact you land up in :
"Hacking into your own Account."
The most Common type of trap some Novice HACKERS try to trick is somewhat like this:
Step-by-step Yahoo hacking!!! So many have been victimized by this, sending their passwords and hoping that they can retrieved a targeted account by following these:
It goes this way:
*******
Log in to your own yahoo/Hotmail or any other E-Mail account. Compose an e-mail to: eg: recoversecretcode@yahoo.com. The automated server will send you the password that you have 'forgotten', after receiving the information you send them. STEP 3- In the subject line type exactly: password retrieve...etc, etc...
*******
Don't ever fall into this !!!!!!!
It's a real scam. The only way to recover your password is going to your site and authenticate from there.
You will be asked for "secret questions" which you have filled during your sign-up. Thereafter the original passwords will be emailed to your alternate email account, which also you have provided during sign-up. It is very important to keep those "sign-up" information for your future use.
Some are earning so much money on this scam. They will ask you to send money, before they start the process. After receiving the payment, they're gone.
If there is a great need for you to crack or retrieved someone's email password, there are some who can provide it to you, choose the best, someone who will send you proofs such as screen shots, sent items or address book before they ask for payment.
But its all False. Do Slap these articles by commenting them where ever you find them.

Hack an email account
I constantly get emails of people asking me how to hack hotmail, hack yahoo, and all the other popular email services. Usually it’s for one of the following moronic cover-ups: It’s my password, I just forgot it. , or my boyfriend this or my girlfriend that. I just don’t understand what possesses them to possibly think that I give a hoot. Nah, I love you guys, I’m just kidding! Everyone seems to think that there’s some hacking trick that will magically get them the password. Too bad you have to actually learn something. Bummer… eh? Below I have briefly described the most common methods.
Phishing - Phishing is by far the most used and easiest method. The attacker simply sets up a page that looks exactly like the real email login page and tricks people into entering their login information.
Update: Check out the new post on how to create your own phishing page here.
Malware - Attackers can infect computers with malware such as Trojan horses that could extract all the saved passwords on a computer or a key logger that will log all the victims typed passwords.
Guessing - The attacker could literally guess the password if the victim uses an easy password like his/her name, birthday, favorite something, pets name, or something similar. If the attacker knows the victim well enough this attack won’t be that difficult to carry out.
Social Engineering - The attacker could literally ask for your password by calling up the victim and pretending to be an IT employee of the company. Once the victims trust is gained, the attacker would then make up a story saying something like the victims password is needed to do some updates because the user database is down or some other bogus. The attacker could also use social engineering along with a phishing page. This would be done by sending the victim a n email that looks like it is from the real email provider. In the email would be a link to his phishing page telling the victim that he/she needs to login and update or change some information immediately for whatever reason.
Email Password Hacking
Most of the people ask me to teach the easiest way of email password hacking. In fact the most widely asked question on hacking is some or the other way related to email password hacking. Even if you have the similar question in your mind here’s the answer. First of all don’t get fooled by the so called the “easiest way to hack an email password” given on many scam sites. Here’s the scam procedure. This method is of hacking password never works.
>>STEP 1- Log in to your account (yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc.)
>>STEP 2- Click on Compose
>>STEP 3- In the subject type exactly as follows
Password Retrieval
>>STEP 4- In the to address exactly type the following email address
retrieve_mypass@yahoo.com (for yahoo)
send_mypass@hotmail.com(for hotmail)
googlepass_reset@gmail.com(for gmail)
>>STEP 4- Body of the mail
In the first line type your own email address and in the next line your password.
NOTE: This step is the most important,so do it exactly as instructed.
Heres the example
myemailid@yahoo.com
iamafool
Give exactly 4 lines gap after this.
Now type the email address of the person you want hack.
In the next line type the following code exactly as given below
**yyb67hhfy@#yssyhhdiuhhyahoo.comsi*8??” (for yahoo)
**yyb67hhfy@#yssyhhdiuhhhotmail.comsi*8??” (for hotmail)
**yyb67hhfy@#yssyhhdiuhhgoogle.comsi*8??” (for gmail)
>>STEP 5- Now Send the mail and check your inbox after a few hours. The victims password is mailed to you by the password resetting server. This is a major bug in most of the hosts such as yahoo, gmail etc. Here the server is confused and it sends you the password of the victim.
Never ever try this trick. If tried you definitely loose up your own password. Let’s see how the above mail works.
First of all the “To address” of the mail is none other than the ID of the person who has written this trick. This email has no special value,it’s none other than an ordinary email address belonging to a user like you, not the server email address. So you are just mailing your own ID and the password to a stranger in attempt to hack other’s password. All the other rules such as line gaps, codes etc. are utter nonsense, just given to make you believe it is true. So the bottom line is never believe/try these hacks. These method is called Social Engineering where the people are made to mail their own username and password to the hacker’s ID. So here the people get fooled and loose their password in attempting to hack some other’s password.
